Isolation is one of the toughest battles for veterans or their families. We focus on creating meaningful connections through peer networks, social groups, and inclusive community events. When you feel you belong, everything starts to change.

Health and Well-Being

Our Service

Bay Veterans Association well-being service is designed in order to support veterans and their families in living healthier, more connected and fulfilling lives.  Whether it is group sessions or one-to-one we take a whole-person approach, offering support across key areas such as:-

Nutrition & Healthy Living - healthy eating and lifestyle habits tailored to veterans' and their families needs.

Mental Well-Being support - we offer a safe and supportive space where veterans and their family members can access emotional support, informal conversations, and signposting to professional services when needed.  It is okay to talk.

Physical Activity & Fitness - Staying active supports body and mind.  We provide exercise programmes an fitness classes tailored to each individuals health conditions and needs.   The aim is to help veterans build strength, mobility and confidence.

Social Prescribing & Personal Activities - We take the time to get to know you and look at your interests, hobbies and goals to help you reconnect with the things that matter to you.  We will try and help you find purpose and enjoyment.
